4. How to Use the Elecpro EPC400 Programmable Electric Pressure Cooker

Using the EPC400 is simple and straightforward, even for first-time users. Follow these 6 easy steps to achieve perfect results every time:

Prepare Ingredients & Add to Inner Pot: Chop or prepare your ingredients (e.g., meat, vegetables, grains) as needed. Place them into the non-stick inner pot, then add the required amount of liquid (water, broth, etc.)—ensure the liquid level does not exceed the maximum fill line marked inside the pot (to prevent overflow).
Secure the Inner Pot & Lid: Wipe the outer bottom of the inner pot dry (to avoid damage to the heating plate) and place it firmly inside the cooker. Close the lid until you hear a "click"—this indicates the lid is properly sealed. Ensure the pressure release valve is set to the "Sealed" position (not "Venting").
Connect Power & Turn On the Cooker: Plug the power cord into a 220-240V electrical outlet. Press the "Power" button to turn on the cooker—the LED display will light up, showing the default setting.
